Workshop in the Works
by Dianna Effner
I have been working on an idea for a workshop featuring the 10 inch April. This workshop would include lessons in painting, assembly and mounting, heirloom lace bib collar, ribbon embellishments dyed with Copic markers. I will have to develop a new painting video. It is one that I have been thinking about giving more details in the fundamentals of painting dolls with China Paints than I have done on previous videos. I want people to be able to learn without a teacher present. The dress could be made by students in advance or ordered. There are folks who would sew dresses to order for workshops. A sewing workshop could also be offered at the discretion of the coordinator. The basic pattern will be provided and possibly kits and supplemental instructions would be made available.
Here are pictures of some of the things the students would be making.
Aprils doll, Itty Bitty with her bonnet and gown could be a separate workshop or be done subsequently with April.
If anyone is interested in learning how you can do the workshop as a home study course or as a group study weekly workshop
please let me know.
Tell me if you are interested in more info on the home study doll craft courses or you if you interested in learning more about becoming a project group coordinator.

Put "project workshops" in the subject line.
