Spring Fashion Show: A Challenge/Showcase

Attention Doll Makers and Doll Dreamers' Society Members  

Expressions Announces a Doll Fashion Challenge with prizes for the top 3 winners.  

This contest Features the Sweet Petite Series.  
Dress your favorite girl in an outifit that expresses her personality. 

Here are some examples:

Romantic Little Michelle models a lovely silk gown.  

Sweet and feminine Marianne models a pretty lavender dress.

Trendy Little Madeline models a Mod Party Dress

Here's bold but lovely Olivia in another Trendy outfit.

You can use one of Nedra's fully illustrated pattern or any pattern of your choice.

Rules for the DDS Fashion Show Challenge

1.  You must be a member of the Doll Dreamers Society to enter the Spring Fashion Challenge.

2   The Contest features the Sweet Petite Series including Madeline, Marianne, Michelle, Nicole, Olivia, Leah, Lacey, Tina, Joanna or Josie

or

If you don't have the Sweet Petite molds you can use the Wednesday's Child Series including Allison, Bridget,  Little Darling #1 and #2,  

or

The 10-11 inch All-Procelain Series including Little Lou, Little Lou 2,  Portrait 1-5, Emily, Jessica, Lovey or Jenny

Choose your favorite little girl to model your costume.  Make a costume that expresses her personality.  

3.  You can enter 1, 2 or 3 different outfits.

4.   Send a picture of each entry with a brief description and your information (more on this to follow)  to dolldreamerssociety@yahoo.com

Write Spring Fashion Show in the subject line

You can include one optional extra photo with your entry to show a particular view or detail.

The entries will be Showcased on-line.  The link will be posted on the Doll Dreamers Society yahoo group and sent in an email to the DDS members.  Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite.

The 3 top winners will be selected based on popular vote. 

The First Place winner will receive a certificate for $100 to be used for molds or patterns from Expressions
The Second Place will received a certificate for $50
The Third Place will receive a certificate for $25 

There will be no charge and no Critique for this challenge. 

The deadline for sending the entries is April 15th,  2011

In addition to the photos please include the following information with each of your entries.

Your Name 
Your Email Address
The name of the mold you used
The name of your entry
A brief story or description ( Up to 50 words) to share the idea or inspiration behind your entry.

Don't forget to put Spring Fashion Show in the subject line
